We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature in our PIM system — S3 Object Storage Integration! This update allows you to easily connect and use cloud storage services like Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, and Cloudflare R2 directly within your AtroPIM environment.

🌐 What is S3 Object Storage?

S3-compatible storage is a modern cloud solution that lets you store and manage files via a secure online connection. It offers a reliable alternative to storing large volumes of data on your local servers.

🔗 Easy Integration

With our new module, you can easily set up a connection between your PIM and your preferred cloud storage provider:

1. Go to Administration > Connections
2. Click Create Connection
3. Choose type S3 and enter the necessary details:
   • Name – Name of the connection
   • Type – Select S3
   • Region – Where your S3 bucket is located
   • Endpoint – Path to the cloud storage
   • Key / Secret – Authentication credentials
   • Bucket – Name of your storage bucket
   • ACL – Set access level (private or public)
4. Click Test connection — if successful, you're ready to go!

📁 Manage Storage in the Cloud

Once the connection is set:

• Go to Administration > Storages
• Click Create Storage
• Choose type S3
• Link it to the connection you created
• Specify the Mounted Folder (location within the bucket)

All files you add, change, or delete in this storage will automatically sync with your S3 cloud storage.

✅ Two-way synchronization is supported:

• Click the Scan button to sync from S3 to PIM
• Or set up a scheduled job for regular updates

📌 Keep in Mind

• Files stored in S3 behave just like local files — they can be:
  • Downloaded
  • Exported
  • Linked to products
• ⚠️ However: Files and folders in S3 Storage cannot be renamed or moved after creation

These updates give you greater flexibility, scalability, and secure storage management, all while keeping your workflow simple and efficient.
